AIR MATTER
"Air Matter" is an interactive installation inspired by traditional pottery and a completely new approach to the generation of this craft.
The installation involves physical computing, Arduino, and Processing to generate visuals based on the data received by a Leap Motion sensor, which detects the hand movement throughout the air. This movement is translated into juxtaposed circular rays, resulting in endless shapes combinations.
The virtual vase is then transformed into a 3D object file and brought back to the physical world through 3D printing.
