CARTIER WOMEN INITIATIVE
AWARD CEREMONY

We designed the stage and concept for the Cartier Women Initiative Award Ceremony 2024, which opened with an evocative performance by the dance department of the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, inspired by the power of unity. The attendees were also inspired by speeches from Cyrille Vigneron, CEO and President of Cartier and Wingee Sin, Global Program Director of the Cartier Women's Initiative.

The Superbien Team and I envisioned a minimal, modern design featuring the bold Cartier colors and only a few, strong sculptural pieces on the stage: a ramp, for the dramatic entrance of our speakers, and 6 long sheer fabric banners framing our main screen.

The minimal set design was elevated by an elegant light choreography that synchronized our fabric backlighting effect to the content of the screen and movement of guests on stage. The same red light washes applied on our ramp centerpiece elevated this metaphysical element and each step of our guests walking upon it.​​​​​
