With the recent refresh of the Rockstar Energy Drink Visual Identity System, it was time for the brand to upgrade to a high-end collection of Point of Sale (POS) units to match the brand’s new look. Rockstar’s new look is a sophisticated vision with black and gold accents. The PepsiCo Design Team was tasked with designing three perm-merch POS fixtures that would embody the new bold, dynamic and refined aesthetic of the brand. 

In a one-week super design sprint, the PepsiCo Brand Experience and Design teams collaborated and finalized three units that utilize the iconic Rockstar Star’s angular shapes. This family of POS fixtures breaks traditional boundaries and creates consumer interest with theatrical and futuristic appeal. Design, three-dimensionality, interactivity, and storytelling are equally as essential to driving product sales, in addition to leveling up the look of products in-store.

Over 1550 small units have already been ordered, produced, and distributed to wow and capture consumer attention in retail locations across North America.
